Just realised , been turning for just over a year now and i have run out of slimline pens .
When i first started i was turning out endless supplies of slimlines as i practiced the dark art of pen making.

I have somewhat neglected the making of slimlines ithe past 6 months in my quest to improve and make bigger and better pens.
I have decided to return back to my penturning roots and make slimline pens .
Has Anyone else neglected the slimline in pursuit of the Bigger and better looking pens.

I definitely have for a few year now but I am just beginning to rediscover them and just how versatile they are

I like making slimline and streamlines because, as Woody says they're very versatile.

I went off Slimlines in favour of Streamlines which I find sell better.

Yep, me too. There is a certain honesty with the slimline that I like, it is what it is. And as Woody said, very versatile.
Just don't let any suppliers know that were all going through a slimline renaissance, i fear an energy company style price rise would be imminent !!! :funny: :funny:

I have always been a big advocate of the slimline and it's derivatives due largely to its adaptability.
To the extent where I had to defend it on one snobby forum where people started getting above themselves in condemning it.
I went off buying kits altogether until I use my existing stock then to re-evaluate the situation.
I still have many more to get through which are a mixture of kits but still tend to grab a slimline.
