I have always been a big advocate of the slimline and it's derivatives due largely to its adaptability.
To the extent where I had to defend it on one snobby forum where people started getting above themselves in condemning it.
I went off buying kits altogether until I use my existing stock then to re-evaluate the situation.
I still have many more to get through which are a mixture of kits but still tend to grab a slimline.
