Thuya Burr - Melamine finish

Ive not been tempted to try a Melamine finish on a Burr wood untill today (always worried it could be patchy), but followed Phil Darts method and I'm pleased with the results. Still a good shine to please most, but the pen feels like a wooden pen.

The secret to melamine as with most others is good preparation, do it right and you'll be rewarded.... Well done on another great looking pen too:drool:
