I had an early start this morning!!! A trio of three Thuya burr pens that are part of my stock for this coming weekends Christmas Fayre, organised by Bodmin & District Woodturners and being held at Lostwithiel Community centre.

I too love Thuya burr wood, and yours are just brilliant. May I ask what did you finish them with?

Kelvin, I sand with 400grit and then 600grit followed by burnishing/polishing with the Beall 3 wheel buffing system that I got from Phil Dart, using tripoli, white diamond and finally carnauba wax.
