Timber as pen blanks

I have been turning out my wood bin and found wood I bought from Craft supplies when they sold their bags of spindle blanks.
I have found Chakte Vega, Plum Cherry and Mulberry.
I was wondering how these turned when cut into pen blanks.

They all turn well and take an excellent finish the Chakte can be a bit bland

Chakte Vega is new to me Maurice, but the others are fine for making pens with ... :bwink:

Merged the two threads, so others will now not know why David is calling you a Plonker ... :funny:
