I was told to day about a company called Morgan timber in Rochester and have been told there offcut pile is about a 3\4 of an acre pile mountain for any one local might be worth a vist

Borrow a big van Steve .... no bigger than that and bring it full of free offcuts to York with you
Road train full do.
I use Morgans quite often...there can be some good stuff if you like digging but sorry for the punn ...most is run of the mill...they have also a habbit of not supplying non sustainable timber...they have loads in the yard but wont sell it
Yet again, up t'north. Why are the good things never in the beautiful south
Hi Paul...its the wrong side of the Thames for Southend and its actualy on the Medway...there is a guy in there who was cutting of cuts into pen blanks as a side but its never taken off....its more of a sawmill type timber yard where you buy meters of the stuff as apossed to the friendly family run stiles and bates(which is were i go) although it a 40mile round trip as to 5 with Morgans.
Its a bit horses for courses as i said earlier a LOT of nice wood if you want to dig
Its north from me...
Do I need an extra cardie
do they charge much for offcuts?
Steve
Some would say more stab vest.
