Is it just me or is there recurring problems with accessing Timberbits website? I was half way through putting in an order when it seemed to stop working and now all I get is:-


Error: Cannot connect to the database server

Last week it was showing many items out of stock, just as they did when I sent an order a month ago. There was me expecting he had replenished his stock for another order.

Have you emailed him Dave, if he has a problem and doesn't know about it, then your order may take longer than necessary ..

I e-mailed David earlier today and here is the reply I got from him:-

Were doing website upgrades in the middle of the night here in sydney to minimise the impact on Australian Customers.
Unfortunately, the middle of the night Sydney time is the middle of the day UK time.
We are in the constant drive to upgrade and improve our IT infrastructure so that will mean periods where the website will be down for a few hours at a time.
