Finished this with Melamine yesterday, using Phil's methodology - thank you :thumbs:
Blank is "Fiji" from Axminster. The photo's are not terribly good and don't show the finish well. I'm happy with the "burr" but the Alumilite not so sure :thinks:

Difficult to read into the red pen, love the way you continued the burl pen detail thanks for sharing, certainly the finish worked well.
