Today's efforts include 4 Sierras, two in ebony & 2 in cocobolo :rolling:

Gotta admit I am truly underwhelmed by the Ebony, I don't think I will be in any rush to do more unless someone specifically requests ebony

The cocobolo on the other hand, very nice to work with and results today not to bad, will be using again :thumbs:

Incidentally the gold & chrome Sierras (without the stylus) where supplied by Dan from his new stock, excellent quality and once again good service.:thumbs::thumbs:

I know what you mean about ebony, it can be a bit of a beech to get a consistently good shine on it which is probably why blackwood is so popular. I use it mainly for adding to other woods or just bands nowadays.

Nice pens though

Great looking set Billy, I am with you on the Ebony front though, it is a bit bland on it's own. But, still very well turned:thumbs::thumbs:
