Dunstable, home of Chronos is only a short drive away from me and I have been into their “establishment” on several occasions. The place is a bit like a cross between a museum, a cash and carry, and a home for retired metal workers. A place where, if you asked an employee if they had an off center tapered imperial XYZ converter in carbon steel, the response might well be, oh we had one of those on that shelf over there in 1951.

Good ol' Chronos. Excellent for fixed MT drives and thread die holders amongst other things.
