Tools needed to use corian?

Hi all

What tools,saw ect are needed to cut and turn corian anything different or not?

I use the same tools and machinery just look out for the heat generated.
Loads will disagree but I sometimes put a towel on the ways and spray soapy water at it as I am drilling.
I don't pussyfoot around withdrawing the bit and slow drilling, I go for the kill if it blows throw it away it's only plastic.
Having said that I lose very few with this method it don't get a chance to overheat or enlarge the hole.

Same tools as for wood, make sure they are sharp.

Don't listen to grump, he has so much money to throw away he can afford to chuck them away..:wink:

I use same tools as wood but I drill at lower speeds as I can't afford to chuck owt away..

If you have a nice expensive Colt drill then you can do what Brian says, otherwise i would remove the drill as normal and save the blank from blowing ... :thumbs:

But do use sharp tools ... :winking:
