The Penturners Forum is up and running, and functioning normally. If you are still experiencing difficulties in accessing it, the cause is now likely to be the settings on your mobile device. Read the following instructions, which may help you to overcome the problem.

If possible, log on to a router based WiFi network, rather than relying on 3G or 4G. If you can’t do that, follow these steps anyway.

From your browser, type in the full address of a website that you know is working. Google.com may be a good choice. IMPORTANT - Type in the full address - do not rely on autofill or history or browser suggestions. Hit enter and go to that page.

Once the page is loaded, type in the full address of the forum.

penturners.co.uk (but put the www in front too)

IMPORTANT - again, type in the full address - do not rely on autofill or history or browser suggestion. With any luck, you should now be able to access the forum. Once the page is loaded, if you are on a WiFi network, log off from it so that you are now on your 3G or 4G signal. Refresh your webpage, and you should still be on the Forum. If it fails, close the page, and repeat all steps from the beginning, but this time remain using your 3G or 4G signal. The problem should now have gone away, but if not, repeat all steps from the beginning, but try a site other than googe.com as your starting point.

We’ll see you on the forum from your mobile device in a short while.
