I needed to find some tubes of a specific size and looked at the IAP Library where they have a PDF with drill sizes, tube ID, OD length etc for each kit from various suppliers, but none are from Timberbits, Rizheng, Axminster, TR, Penkits etc etc.

It got me to thinking maybe we should have that sort of resource, I know we could ask here and someone would probably be able to measure a certain tube, but it would be nice if it was at our fingertips.

I am proposing to collate the data, unless someone has already done it, of the kits we come across from the UK, OZ and China. Would anyone else find this useful? If you would and even if you wouldn't could you measure the tube length, OD, ID for each tube a kit comes with and say where the kit originates from or at least where it was bought, if you know. If people are interested we could also include data for bush sizes and anything else that is relevant like drill sizes and equivalents.

I don't mind collating everything and I am sure Jim wouldn't mind that sort of resource being in the library or equivalent.

Let me know your thoughts and if you would find it useful.

Peter
