Inspired by Tudric pewter ware.
5" d x 3" from foot to rim. Timbers are Keruing and Rosewood with a faux leather braid.

Crikey that's a bit of work; I do like the plaited bit in the 'rainure' I've forgotten the english word :sob: the groove is not quite right. But I do want to see flames from the bowl complete with the dancing witches/wizards/or whatevers that go with it  well done and what an imagination

The "Rebate" was formed before I'd decided what to fill it with Peirre. I've been booked to do some club demonstrations this year and this is a prototype for a demonstration piece.

Does this object hold or associated with water or is it purely ornamental, who cares I am impressed by the careful design, choice of timbers and the esoteric band around the pot. Lots of fun thanks Neil.
