Turners Retreat kits

Turners Retreat are selling two pen kits I am interested in. The Statesman Classic and the Gentlemen’s Classic. Both these kits are quite expensive so before I splash the cash has anyone had problems with either of the kits? At the moment my preferred option would be the Gentlemen’s Classic (not to be confused with the Jr Gentlemen) as the price is a little lower. I have gone down this route because I am not one for bling and these appear to be more sedate.

Maurice, i bought a Gentlemen’s Classic pen kit a while ago from TR and put a Snake Skin blank on it .. No problems at all with the kit, i can't help with the other kit mentioned ... :bwink:
