I have 20 circular blanks approx 3" x 3/4" and have been asked if I could turn a set of coasters and a stand but just do not know where to start. I thought about hot gluing a waste piece of wood to them and turning them that way. I have never used this method before and just wondered if anyone else had turned coasters from pieces and how they did it. Thanks in advance because I just know someone will be able to tell me.:thinks:

I use industrial double sided carpet tape or if they are going to be slices of a log I use just the belt sander then give them a lacquer, oil or hard wax oil finish
