You're determined to get the acrylics sorted init?
What software are you using to edit the images?
A close crop and auto enhance does this to your pic in shotwell.

Grumpy I downloaded a freebie (cos am a pensioner) called wait for it.............Gimp2:banana::banana:.......its a bit like photoshop but I haven't got to grips with it yet, still finding my way round it.:thinks::thinks::thinks:

I use Picaso 3 which is also free and easy to use

Using cartridges is fun Peter as you commented pictures take time the thing I like when doing mine they are so basic and clear without computerful images I feel good if they mostly look the same as in my hand. From set up toforum ready for me is in the minutes. Will you polish the brass for ever or is iot coated?

Well done Peter .. You will have the images cracked shortly, your not the first in here that had this problem my friend .. They now post up good images .. :thumbs:

Peter I am very familiar with gimp, I use it myself and recommend it to others.
It is in my opinion the best free pic editor, as you say it does take some getting used to and finding your way around it.
It's all in the right mouse click.
I'll leave you alone to familiarise yourself with it, only other thing I would say is use a tripod and timer, bright light init?

Well I use Picaso 3 and several other programs, makes no diff to me, pics are still crap :funny: does it worry me? nope I still keep posting crap pics:thinks:
