Sorry about the green mat and the quality of the photo's
I would have shown these a few days ago but a certain person purloined the Elm one and I hid the horn one from her cos I intend to give her it for her birthday (21 again:funny:)

The left one is Elm and the other is horn

Elm from my days of working in the woods. It was beginning to become worm eaten and I managed to get the best of it for this pen.
Finished with C.A. a tube of polish from my motorcycling days and a layer of wax

I got the Horn from Boddy's on my way home from a visit to The freeman Hospital for my review.
Polished with fine sand paper and T cut finished off with some wax polish

They had a lot of bags of horn, I spent a while choosing the best bag wish I had got two bags now.
They were selling off a lot of stock at the time from the shop. It's not the place it use to be.

Thanks everyone for you comments.
The Horn one surprised me, I had not expected it to come up with such a variation of colours in it. It was the first time I had used so much horn in on go as a pen. I have several pieces of horn left but am waiting for my order from Timberbits to arrive before I use any more.
What's that 20 posts:funny:
