Two new shaving sets

Made two new shaving sets.
One for Mach 3 blades and the other, more luxurious, for Double Edge Safety blades.
The black and gold is a deluxe stand weighs a ton and is far superior to the other stand.

They are very nice I haven't seen the old type of razor for years we used to sharpen the blades by stropping them on the palm of our hands

That's probably why you don't have hairy palms!

These type of razors are making a big come back. People are fed up with paying stupid prices for multi blade cartridges and getting mediocre shaves, resulting in in-growing hairs and razor bumps.

My favourite too, but then I hate multi blade cartridge razors.

Thanks Paul love the stands the workmanship that is yours. I love the multi blade ones if I duck out of shaving for a few days I head for my multi blade shaves with ease no blood on the floor. There is if a I use a single blade.

My Dad during WW2 in the Middle East started of with an open razor someone swiped his mirror so he hung a pic of himself in front and shaved from that. Both of us (I commenced shaving every day in 1949 when I commenced full time work) used single blades. My Dad used a glass to sharpen a special strop so many weird and wonderful special devices giving him months use from one blade he was an accountant used to record things like that. I spent my early years going 120 degrees opposite to him he was obsessive. Since I married or really before I have used an electric shaver for preference.

I admire your stands and shavers and brushes the treatment of the posts as well.

Have seen one place selling them, can't remember who at the moment, but the quality did not look as good.
I am considering getting one to try when I find them again. I'll do a side by side shaving test.
It's very surprising how different DE Razors are when you compare different makes. The blades (and there are hundreds) vary even more between makes.
