They look good, I have just looked at their site, but they don't list them, was it the last of them that they had?

The kits look good and as expected so does the turning.
Are you sure the second one is Mansonia, it looks a bit dark?
Mansonia is nasty stuff with a list as long as your arm of reactions to the dust including cardiac disorders.
The bark of the tree itself, contains a Digitalis cardiac poison!
I personally wouldn't touch the stuff!

Hi Neil I am sure it is Mansonia as I got it from lignaterrae and he is one man who knows his wood it was the darkest bit of the lot the rest are a lot lighter it wasn't easy to get a good finish in fact I'm not happy with the finished item thanks for the warning about the wood Neil I will take greater care with the rest of it

Yep, deffo Mansonia, cut from a larger board of the material. It can be quite variable in colour from dark straw to a deep purple. This example is very much at the dark end of its range.
Mansonia has been known to cause irritation if the dust is breathed in but I hope no-one here is daft enough not to wear a mask when sanding any wood! Reports are very variable, some people show no reaction, others suffer badly.
Nice timber, the photo doesn't show too well the fine veining in the grain.
