Two pepper mills

Made two grinders - one from Tasmanian blackwood (right) - really spectacular texture with deep fiddleback (which looks like tiger eye crystal), photo does not make it justice. Second grinder (left) is from some sort of Queensland (Australia) timber, not sure what species really.

Unless I miss my guess the exceptional Blackwood may come to you in the UK through an agent beware it comes at a price premium timber demands a fair price.

This piece of wood was very expensive even down here, in Australia. Tasmanian Blackwood is definitely one of the top premium timbers here.
