Two serpent pens one dressed in Holly, rosewood and sycamore the other in Laburnum , sycamore and rosewood Now can you spot my mistake's back to the drawing board LOL

Did you reverse the inner laminate on some of the inserts on the first one?

They look fine to me

Well the mistake is forgiven, the jointing is spot on, no gaps or glue showing.

It might be a mistake, but it's one that could be exploited for other blanks

I'd like to try doing one of these, but I'm not very good on the scroll saw. Maybe a 1/8" blade in the bandsaw?

I wouldn't have noticed the "mistake" if you hadn't mentioned it.
