I ordered some preproduction pens from Smitty's Pen Works. PREPRODUCTION SALES and asked for a price on postage and it was only $17.

I signed up to USPS put all my details in to buy some American stamps I want for casting it looked like the would not post them to the UK, so I sent an email to Leroy Smith aka Smitty asking if I had the sheet of stamps sent to him would he put them in with my pen kits, he replied that yes it would be fine. I then went to buy the stamps and have them sent to him, but it turns out that USPS will let you sign up with UK address, but will not let you pay with a Credit Card that doesn't have a US address, doh!

Anyway I told Leroy that they wouldn't be coming after all and he asked me which one and how many I wanted and he ordered them fro USPS and I just paid him via PAYPAL. To me that is service above and beyond and he now has a devoted customer.

Cheaper prices for pre production paid upfront means he has to lay out less of his own hard earned when he places the order, plus a significant portion is already sold when they arrive.

Always good to hear good things about suppliers, no matter where abouts in the world they are ..
