Er indoors asked me to make a new pen for her so did this one this morning. It is a gold Lucida in a goldfield burr and the crevices infilled with brass powder. The barrel was topped off with a CA finish.
I have taken 3 photos to try and show the infill and I only hope Peter doesn't see any bluetack !!! LOL

Very nice Terry. I've made a few pens and filled the gaps with brass dust but am not always happy with the results but yours looks very nice. The photos are great too.

Very nice indeed Terry, i do like these kits, which are much better than the standard Sierra .. :bwink:

Looks like Woody gave you the best bit of the Goldfield with only a few voids in it, the old codger ...

I got quite a few pieces off Woody a while ago certainly before the last get together. Most of it is riddled with crevices though and a little too risky to attempt to turn !!!

I probably will try Woody but I will need a bank loan for all the brass powder needed to fill all the crevices !!!! LOL:banana::banana::banana:
