I have recently taken delivery of three upgrade Jr Gents Kits from Pen-Kits UK Pen Kits - Pen Kits - The Place to Turn to...

They are listed on their site as Jr. Gent Premium Rollerball Pen, and are available in the following platings "Titanium Gold, Black Titanium & Rhodium"

I have now made one of each up see photo below (more info on Show of your finished items, wooden pens) and with regards to the kits I have been very impressed, no issues with threads, no excess glue, no clips falling off, in fact perfect. This is the first time I have made up three Jr Gents without any issues in any of them.

They were a bit more expensive but with the fact that no kit issues and the added bonus of a variety in colour platings I will be looking to purchase more.

Nice to see the differnt pens Billy. And having no issues is good.

However, is the black thread plastic or painted metal?

Look good mate, curious about the threads as well, that's where my issues have been.

The threads still appear to be plastic / nylon but thread on to each other in a far more positive when screwed together, no sign of any binding / cross threading.

Billy, the middle one looks like a metal thread, unless they have painted it silver.
