I have been asked by a clent for a usb memory stick pen, although he called it a data stick pen. Does anyone know of a supplier who has such a thinh. I think he is looking for something where the top comes of the pen and reveals a usb stick. Havent seen anything like it but there again I probably dont keep as up to date will all the offerings out there as I should do.
Any help with this will save me a lot of browsing time and will be gratefully received.
Many thanks

Mike

I can't imagine it would be the nicest looking pen if you make one as it would have to be reasonably bulky and I wonder if the picture of the one that Ian has shown is small because of that.

Does anyone make kits that I could use my own timber with? I have had a look at the link that was posted and it is lacking in a bit of detail but it is the kind of thing I am looking for.

It might be worthwhile just buying a usb stick taking it apart and making your own design, I would keep it as short as possible.

That's what I would try. Although I'd probably want to replace the A-style USB connector with a micro style to reduce the eventual diameter of the pen - and we start getting into complication and cost!

I'm not aware of any kits, sadly ...:rolling::rolling:

I have managed to get a quote from a supplier for the whole pen made up in what looks like beech. This just happens to be the same pen as the customer's photograph that he sent me. Only trouble is that its a minimum order of 100. Dont know how many the customer wants though. I will just need to laser engrave them myself which is no bother.
thanks for all your help.
