I am new to pen turning but not to wood turning. Would using Araldite standard be ok for acrylic blanks. Araldite is the only epoxy glue that I have. Generally Araldite is not much good on plastics. I would prefer to use epoxy over PU glue because PU is like asking Mr Pastry into the shed. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Jestyn, in short Yes it will. But don't go telling everyone on here as they will want to use it as well..

There will be loads on here in a bit telling you what they use.

But hey, guess what? I'm not..

You use what you want and if it does the job then why stop using it?

Hello Jestyn, Welcome to the Asylum mate, I must agree with Eamon on this, I would use it if you got it and good luck on your pen making, just be prepared to spend a fortune..:rolling:

Welcome aboard Jestyn.

I use araldite with no problems but usually the rapid variety 'cos I'm too impatient to wait.
