Can I ask did you tap the corian and screw the fittings in or did you just rely on a bit on the underside to tighten them in?

Suck it up Ian its a slippery slope,beware pressure and suction work carries strict laws for commercial work for very good reasons.Have a good gaze on the IAP in USA Library.

Tapped the corian. Put a little pipe dope on the threads to prevent any leaks.

Im thinking of using a pickle jar with a clip top type lid and replacing the glass lid with corian turned on the lathe to the same profile and fitted with the rubber seal so I can utilise the steel wire clip to give a compression seal to the jar.

I cant decide what pump to buy - looking at quite a number of far eastern ones on Ebay for about £100. Any members of the forum bought one in UK which they can recommend? Also looking at used branded pumps, but I suspect they could be as likely to fail as a new Chinese one?

I assume its advisable to get a pickle jar that's as tall as possible to avoid pulling resin into the pump when it foams up?

Now on with the motley,lucky there are local dealers for the chemistry needed. Interesting to amortise the cost needed to achieve results including purchases. But then thats part of the solution.
