Good morning from Winnipeg,

I mentioned in an earlier post that I had ordered some Arete kits from Woodcraft Utah ... well, my daughter delivered them a couple of weeks ago and i finally finished one. The complaint had been about the nib - too fine, too scratchy and not replaceable. However, and it's still early days, but I've been writing with it quite a bit and my 'one-off' conclusion is very positive. The nib is medium-fine (my term), not the least scratchy and you can't replace the nib. It did not lay down a vast amount of ink so a small tine adjustment was necessary but now, more than acceptable.

I'll turn another this week and if the results are similar, I'll order 10 more given they won't replacing stock.
