After I tried the Viking sunset Bowl and platter I thought "why not a goblet?" !!

Other than the colouring on the goblet stem I think you've made a nice set.
Sorry but I think the stem colouring should have been silver/ black too & only the inside of the goblet cup yellow / orange.
As the other two pieces don't have that colouring on 'the outside' as it were, it looks odd & not in keeping with the 'sunrise' only being from the middle (inside) to the outside, if that makes sense ??, of the other 2 pieces.

Sill, nicely made pieces tho Steve

Yep, good point mate. I was wondering about the stem myself. They were all experimental, just to see if I could do it. I'll modify the next ones.

Well, you've certainly proved you can do it but you need to make (at least) 5 more goblets to make 'the set' :funny::funny:

Can see something like those, as a set, making a pretty penny to be honest, especially to these 'viking wannabes, re-enactors peeps.

You've made a good job of this set Steve. I agree about the stem but that can be sorted.

Do keep the faith mate striking pieces that you have made need to be kept in context I have followed your progress and believe everything you hasv done is beautiful, creative.Personally each item is special, my dearly beloved just pronounced he verdict about colours silver colouring of the wood she is a genuine artist in her own right confirming there will be as many theories and observations as people.

They are intricate, fantastic pieces mate love them all.
