The jewelry maker with whom I collaborated to make the standard model (ebony with CA finish - posted earlier in the week) wanted a variety of woods for his retail store. Shown here (L-R), the pens are done in (A) brown dyed Box Elder, (B) Bocote, (C) yellow-dyed Box Elder, (D) gray Tiger Oak with a purple Box Elder cap, and (E) gray Tiger Oak with a green-dyed Box Elder cap. Each still has silver plate components, solid silver castings in a Celtic knot-work design, and a CA finish. The single pen photo highlighting the cap is brown Box Elder. Fun project.
