Veneered Celtic Knot

Had a go making a Celtic Knot using coloured veneers, it didn’t work as had hoped. For some reason the cross looked very rough and ropey, it wouldn’t smooth off at all .. :down:

Again Thanks to Neil Farrar for the Boxwood .. :thumbs:

This pen was also given five coats of the Melamine and a rub of carnauba wax ..

Looks good in the pic Jim, some plastics are just like that get furry and won't do anything
