I purchased this sapele as pommelie sapele I think on ebay but it is just a little bit figured but there you go some you win some you dont but its not to bad I still enjoyed making it

Not much character to the wood but then I can't think of any Sapele I have turned with any either.
Nicely done dad.

I like them there is a plastic bit inside the cap with the thread on it but every thing fits perfectly together with what seems to be a very good plating

Living so far away there is plenty of figure in that Sapele for me I would never be dissapointed with that purchase Holly is bland, plain Huon Pine is featureless you pen is replete with beauty.
