I've been working in my shed all day making shelve for the wood so that I can create room to put the planer thicknesser that David (Jim Jam) kindly sold me yesterday at a bargain price but I had to have a break so made pen. This is from vine ivy that was growing up an Ash tree.

I've been trying to add extra shine to the finish by using water like I used to when bulling my boots in the mob.

Really great, when I saw the title I thought it was grape vine, it's amazing all the every day stuff we see around us that can be used for pens.
