A set of walnut (fountain pen / roller ball / biro / pencil / letter opener)
All in walnut - the wood was taken from one piece, but came out vastly different across the pieces...

Thank you - the letter opener kit comes designed to do that - though you can of course omit the rings / place them in other arrangements...
just needs accurate band-sawing to get them spaced as needed...

I really like the letter opener . I’ve some american figures walnut that might be getting that treatment now Can I ask which kit it is please?

I also bought the bushes and drill bit
key to success seems to be in cutting the blank exactly the precise measurements, and completely straight across as any deviation gets magnified in assembly.
It is also turned dry and then glued to the tube afterwards when adding the rings, which makes it a lower risk kit - very nice kit
