After listening to your expert suggestions on my Walnut Sierra Click

Chas, i like Walnut, the darker the better, you done a great job with this piece my friend .. But in my opinion, I like to see such dark woods on a Chrome kit rather than Gold, as i feel it enhances the wood .. :pray:

I changed it from a gold kit to a chrome kit


And I think you are right it does look better with the chrome kit

As said Chas, both do look good my friend, i made the comment as over the years i have swapped and changed so many kits and found Chrome does go well with the dark woods .. Personal opinion of course ..

Precisely why I changed it Jim, taking the advice of more experienced forum members and yes it does look better

Nice tip (and pen) I would have automatically put Gold with dark wood and chrome with a light wood!
