The first time I used blanks from 2 different shades of walnut.
It is worse than what the photo shows. Funny how those cameras work both ways.
All in the eye of the beholder I say it works Angelo. Slim Pens make great notebook additions especially if they have a suitable binding. Put them together and you have value adding.
I've done a lot worse myself, I had one that looked like a twig. The great thing about doing pens is it is so easy to turn it off and do it over. Almost worth the cockup for the experience - only almost
