Peter, I couldn't put it better. Why do people assume A Wedding Pen is for signing the register, its a gift just like any other gift for a keep sake and memories. We give horse shoes at weddings but no one says they must be fitted to a horse. Perhaps when we give/sell pens we should say not to open till after the wedding or forget the wedding pen and say Special Occasion Pens.
