Hi All

Advice please, my eldest girl is getting married in September, I'd naturally like to make her a Wedding pen, I've seen the video by Oaksho on YT and he recommends a Roman Harvest because of the amount of depth on the upper tube, having just turned an Empress kit I understand what he means, does any one else have any idea what would be a suitably nice pen to use, I will be giving it the steam punk attention that Oaksho uses.

Hi John

Certainly will be, thankfully my hands are still quite steady, and last year Lidl did a handy Magnifying glass and clamp kit so I'll probably use that.

Now all I need to do is see if I can get my daughter to give away the secret of her bridesmaids dresses so that I can work out the accents colours.

I turned a Roman Harvest with alternative Ivory the other week, for mine and Sue's wedding in October.
Remember if they want to sign the register with the pen.
It has to be agreed by the person officiating at the wedding in advance and must not have had any ink in in before

Hi Chas

Thanks for the ink thing, I knew that it has to be a particular type of ink, but I didn't know that it must not have been used before.

I've decided to order a bling and blingless kit from Timberbits to see how each looks against the barrel, I understand that there is free postage if you order more than £50:00, so 2 kits, the bushings and maybe a couple of Aussie blanks should do it.

I think it all depends on the registry office. I didn't know about the ink either till they told us.
