The blanks look like DiamondCast Nebula, Beaufort Inks sell them.

Sure they will be treasured, will the couple ever risk using them outside the house lol
I made a pen set for my Nephew a few years ago so they could use the pen to sign the register & the Couple weren't allowed to use them, had to use the pen provided. My Nephew was a little disapointed as was I.

The blanks were indeed diamond cast blanks although they came from mckenzie pen works in America. The blanks were bought last year as my friends announced the wedding while we were on hols in Florida and I'd seen these blanks on IAP at the time. It was both their favourite colours so was perfect.
The kits were from Taylors Mirfield and just ouze class as they feel a lot more classy than the sierras I normally make, bought at the Harrogate woodworking show~~that's how long I've been working on these as they needed to be perfect.
The engraving ended up being done by a jewellery engravers in Manchester( who pleasantly surprised me by being impressed with the blanks) who did a fantastic job and infilled with silver. But it just wouldn't sit right with me as you could feel the engraving and I wasn't happy with them so I cleaned them out with acetone then proceeded to fill them with epoxy and mica powder. Then very carefully sanded back then polished them.
That part scared me as they were finished and I decided to change them and potentially ruin them.
But alls well that ends well. They came out great I think and I hope they use them, I think they will.

Looks great! Any recommendations for the venue, by the way? The winter is said to be much colder this year. It seems like the open venue that we planned for our wedding wouldn't be the option... We really wanted to spend less on our wedding, I found some good options for essex wedding venues and they're nice but... Seems like we're going to spend the most of the time inside.

I find in retro the wording to be formal but in these days of delayed weddings maybe a reminder to the couple of the seriousness they have undertaken,in our 65th year coming up I for one can not only recommend the practice of formal uniting but real joys for me and Wilma.
In short any effort to recognise the union is great. To avoid the prohibition on signing the register two documents phrased and signed,witnessed at the same time would serve a novel and permanent reminder of the event.
