Just managed to finish before work this morning a wormy piece of spalted beech. . Found this so much easier now that I can sharpen my tools properly.. did not have to fight the tools and changed my turning from a challenge to a pleasure so I will now not avoid doing something that is not a pen..

Simple shape that really lets the wood show off. Great piece.
