Anyone here help me out.
I have a friend who wants me to put his local football club pin badge on a pen clip.
I have tried using Ca glue but did not seem strong enough.
Anyone done this before and what is the best adhesive/glue to use ?

I haven't done what you are talking about but to my mind a two part epoxy glue would be best. I can imagine there isn't a lot of surface area to bond to and what there is is uneven? I would try to key the area to be adhered too.

Epoxy is probably the best, but if you can drill a hole in the clip and chamfer the hole both sides it will give some extra area to grip and hold.

I have done loads what I did was drill a hole in the old type flat clip not the new fancy ones for the pin then cut most of the pin off then put the rest of the pin in the hole and use it as a rivet if nedded a small blob of solder on the underside no glue at all I used to make them up for scooter clubs among other things

I was thinking of using solder but without the drilling. Your idea to drill sounds much more secure.
Thanks Woody and thanks to everyone who contributed.:winking:

I have done it loads of times too and never knew I was doing it the same way as Woody, it seemed to me to be the only way it was gonna stay there and look neat.
