Had a clean up in one of my shed yesterday, I come across these from when I converted my bench drill press in a floor drill press.
Later as the shed shrunk I converted it back into a bench drill press, put it on a set of drawers on wheels.

Like most things the minute you get rid of them, you will find a use. I am sure that they will just sit there until you find a use for them.

Is the pillar tall enough to make a freestanding tool rest for the pen turning lathe:whistling::whistling::whistling::face:

Seriously do you have a grinder on a bench that would be better on its own stand then make a stand from it
