I just use various bits from reclaimed steel rods from old printers I have collected over the years, turned down to what ever size I need..well I am a tight git!

Various diameters of short stainless steel rods do it for me - and a padded glove for when I miss with the effing hammer!!!

Imperial and metric transfer punches have dealt with all but one of the pens I have needed to disassemble. The exception was an Omega the centre band of which would have needed a 10 megaton bomb to shift....and no! I hadn't glued it in place.
