Well for me it is preparing wood for my latest build. Cutting wood from 3/16" up to 3/4" thick for my latest model build I had got as far as the chassis and realised I had not got enough wood prepared for the next assembly so set about cutting that while doing so I did more for the next two sub assemblies.
Photo's of the chassis and today's cutting/planing

Well I've been painting out a down stairs toilet , laying floor tiles , fitting a toilet, sink and all the ancillary stuff. It's been a great day :sob::sob: The things you do to help your kids out :face:

Operated on this morning, bleeding out ,the tide is stemmed, back home now have been on prep meds and thin stuff then scoured out these last few days. Love being home and warm and with my family. Shopping tomorrow have to wait by law till the arvo to drive.

Our third daughter arrived from the USA for a month, family rallied round the pick up and me makes me very happy. Made some new friends delivering a pen to one special one tomorrow arvo. So far no cancer up there, surgery looking good. Love your impeccable models mate.

This will eventually be a rc model yacht called a footy. It's a class that's mainly for homebuild with the only stipulation that the boat and keel will fit into a box that's 12in by 6in by 12in deep.

Looks like a great challenge. I have so many radio controlled boats but am now going to get rid of them taking up too much room

It's something I've just started doing Derek and I find it really relaxing. We sail on a Wednesday and Saturday afternoon. The lake is almost 200 yards across so just at the limit for the transmitter over water. I may be in the market for another boat mate. Drop me a pm with what you want to dispose of and I'll have a look.

The wife wanted a small cupboard type thing for the hall. Made this one this week and as she wanted to paint it I managed to do everything with screws and filling the recesses. Makes things much easier. Could someone turn it round for me please.

I don't think it will fit on my lathe to turn it round Keith, could have a go for you but I think it will make a mess of the baskets.:face:

Excellent work gents, wished I had got time to do anything as its been another day of bloody hospitals, been there every day for the last 6 weeks. :sob:

Soon be over..

Cheers me up popping in here to see the banter and the work you are doing tho..

Keep it up.
