Well the last Christmas present is complete. This has been made for a great grandson from his dad but made by me. He is into banger racing so a track was made that could race any type of car along with a small pit area separated by a barrier and lift gate. As can be seen in the photo's the track can be stored below leaving the top for other activities. This is finished with an acrylic varnish as requested.
I have included my rough drawing using Sketch up of what I wanted. I managed to nick two of his cars for a test drive I wonder how long it will take before he misses them

The ones I have can be a handful in a good way as we are very fortunate in that they are very well behaved and polite which is refreshing considering what you hear others let their little ones get away with

What a great gift? How old is your great grandson?

He will be 7 in January

Yep I have a good wife to help with the lifting and moving about, as you know not a lot of room in my shed:devil:
