When the child is born, ask Mummy to clip some hair, cast it in resin then turn a twist or rollerball.

A watch part with the time of birth, done loads of them.
As long as it isn’t born at 5 past 1, cos then the hands would be on top of each other

For my niece's first birthday present, I made a pen that suited her name.
I will find the pics and post later.

Looked on Google,

Finley is a given name. Its meaning is of Scottish origin, from the Gaelic personal name Fionnlagh (Old Irish Findlaech), composed of the elements fionn "white", "fair" (see Finn) + laoch "warrior", "hero", which seems to have been reinforced by an Old Norse personal name composed of the elements finn "Finn" + leikr "fight", "battle", "hero".

Fair Laoch, fight, battle, hero, just playing around with some of the words in the above.

As John said reference casting hair in resin. If you are unable to cast I will do it for you and it would be a pleasure. PM me nearer the time and I will to cast a blank for you to your specifications..

Regards
Frederick
