Started this thread again as the first one didn't want to up-load pics for some reason.

Thought I would see what others are up too.

Mine is still the same.

I have two things at the moment now that I have finished the router jig I can play with it.

The first is the Monmouthshire Waggon and second is a pot that is 6" tall well it will be when I stand it upright. The pot is done with the aid of the router jig that I posted about

Twelve custom fountain pens. I posted the prototype for these earlier today, but included a photo of the pen so you can make out the plan. Six colors, two each. Body barrel is bored and tapped to receive sections. The caps are bored. The remaining short piece of material is for the cap finial...

I’m still finishing my workshop!! Very, very nearly done. And I will post pics soon. Because I have a new workshop, my better half said it would only be fair for me to build a new rabbit house, for her hobby, so I’ve built an 8’ x 6’ rabbit ritz. Again I’ll post pics soon. I’m determined to turn a pen soon:vangry::vangry::thumbs:

Regards

I don’t know if I dare ask what her hobby is?

My better half? And the kids like little furry animals!! Various shows and events. I used to complain, but then I started turning pens, so now we have a mutual agreement to not mention the amount of time we spend doing what we like doing. As she sometimes reads this forum, I’m leaving it there. My sofa isn’t that comfortable to sleep on. (Oh and Kev, that is the clean answer)

Craig

No time for me in the workshop today I'm afraid. Got a new nerdy toy though. I may need to buy an anorak too though I think.

Craig - Having been down this road before, I take hat in hand and offer this advice: Build the hutch, start to finish, with enthusiasm and vigor. Make it clear that the rabbit habitat is the most important thing in the world to you. Landscape it. Decorate. Print business cards and send them home with a bouquet. Bring a bottle of wine when you arrive, and tell her "how nice she looks today."

(And then...whilst she is starstruck and reeling with breathless enthusiasm, she'll scarcely notice that the shop got bigger with some new equipment - including a very nice planer which is "designed to make wood chips for rabbit hutches" - and it will all go either unnoticed or be greatly appreciated. You're welcome.)

((Yeah - that won't work worth a piper's dam. You're on your own, brother. I look forward to the new shop photos. After new family babies and good scotch that someone else purchased to share, there is nothing more exciting than setting up a new shop!))

Don't have much room in my workshop so decided to get get rid of my big workbench and just use the B&D workmate and built this mini workbench to compliment it from ideas I got from utube. I have built a pop up Oak dog in the vice and today's job is to go and turn the rest of the dogs and judging from the pictures tidy up the workshop......maybe.
