Anyone hoping that Santa brings something exciting for the workshop? What's on your list?

Me? A bit more heating in my workshop would be nice right now. It's not got above minus 5 outside for a week now!

You will not regret it. Is one of the best bits of kit I bought set up with the Alex Snodgrass method and with Tuffsaw blades cuts straight great for resaw can not falt it

Thanks for that Bob mate. I’ve been using an axminster 350 for some years now and never been happy with it. No matter how carefully I tried to set it up it just seemed a bit er.. rough and ragged even after following the video you mentioned and Tuffsaws. I was at Harrogate with Jim last month and the record just seemed quality so I bought on the spot. Anyway I’ve got new Tuffsaws blades ready and hopefully should have it set up and cutting by the weekend.

Ah well I was lucky enough for Santa (my wife Yvonne) to go with me to the Harrogate Show and Santa bought me three crown tools... looking forward to learning how to use them... one is the midi hollowing tool (oh what a mess I make of trying to hollow) remember the smoking / flying snow man I posted...and a round and square scraper..

As for heat I have just bought an oil filled rad from Costco and it’s specialises in NOT burning dust... I have just come out of the toasty workshop at 9pm...
