Hi pen turners
I've been asked to make a slimline fancy click pen... Which is fine... But it has to have a blue refill.
I've visited all my usual sources online, but can't find anywhere that has blue refills.

They're the short cross style but with a long plastic part at the top.
Can anyone help, in time for Father's day?!

The plastic on the top of the refill will pull off.

Then get a standard cross black refill and pull the top off that and refit the plastic top from the original refill on to the new refill.

You can also shorten the cross refills (if you don’t mind a little bit of mess:whistling:) with a dremil cutting disk to suit the shorter refill pens. Been there done that!

!

Not sure what is meant by 'short cross style'. The standard for ball point refills defines standard dimensions for a C1 refill that is the standard for most pens made by Cross, and as far as I know, for most 'slimline' pen kits.

You should be able to purchase blue Cross refills at almost any stationery or office supplies store.

The fancy slimline click takes a shorter refill than the more common (is popular a better word?) than the 7mm slimline (which is the c1)
There's a photo on the previous page.

Typically, I think they are easy enough to get hold of ... until you really need them, then they are like hens' teeth! Story of my life :funny:
